For those of you with low bandwidth; I've decided to type out a transcript for you, and for myself as a future reference:
*Radio crackles into life*
Flight Team (Pilot?): This is Flight Team EG-9 to Control. We have completed the fly-by. There's nothing left. I repeat. Titan Station has been completely destroyed.
Overseer: And the Marker?
Flight Team: Negative. Nothing survived this, sir. Marker site 12 is a total loss.
Overseer: Pity. Recall all flights and return to base. The other sites will have to pick up the pieces.
*Radio signs off*
Perhaps some of the corruption (See here: http://deadspace.wikia.com/wiki/The_Corruption ) Managed to find its way onto the shuttle and went to where ever this 'base' is, or possibly one of the other marker sites. Some of you may say that, and quote, that the corruption is only there in the presence of a marker signal. Which means that instead of using the corruption, we could use the creeper. Updated - 22/10/12 Added information on the USM Abraxis. Named the anti-protagonist as the Overseer who is featured in Dead Space: Aftermath. (Confirmed. See here: http://deadspace.wikia.com/wiki/Overseer)
