When I joined the server, ted informed me of a massive grief at his company. I went to check, and he was right. It's huge:

Before, there was a massive tower here. Now it's pretty much all gone. I was unable to do anything because the current world that is being used is not logged by Logblock yet, and the toolblock still doesn't work. Once we get LB finished, we can find out who did it. Also, in my opinion, the grief should be a perm ban, due to the size of the grief.

It's things like this which keep us in beta and I'm afraid I can only offer you, the players, two options:

1. Whitelist is dumbed down to necessary staff until we have a way to safely combat griefers (E.G. Me and Sos getting LogBlock working), manage to discuss in a staff members and block all the items we agree to block and finally are fully ready to fill the needs of the players.

or 2. We carry on as normal, regenerate the landscape so that you can build there again, and supply you (limitedly) with what you lost.

This is your decision. I'll leave you to decide...

Honestly, a white-list would only lead to less publicity. While it would help to keep the server a bit safer until we get everything sorted out (blocking items, LogBlock, etc.), it still wouldn't be fair to the non-staff members. I think we should take a vote on whitelist or no whitelist. Let's get all of the opinions. Forl, if you want, I can make the poll.

At the moment we don't want publicity, we're not ready to go 'public' as it were, which is why we're in beta. I agree it wouldn't be far, but without LogBlock or something similar to find out who did this, players and staff are going to have to have collective punishment. In my mind, going back to alpha with staff only until we have a way to make sure our members aren't wasting their time would be better. Feel free to make the poll, it's their decision.

It would be nice to not be dealing with hackers and such, The investigations take forever, such as when kiwi's town was demolished.
